Tiffany Duong
is a Toronto based, mixed-media artist and illustrator currently working towards her BFA at OCAD University.
In her practice, Tiffany uses art to preserve the immediacy of experience and investigate the ways in which memories are formed and remembered. Creating work in a diary-like manner, Tiffany's work features layered, melancholic dreamscapes that vulnerably explore themes of womanhood and human relationships in a whimsical, fairy-tale inspired manner. In doing so, she subsequently asserts the validity of her existence in a society historically dominated by colonial and patriarchal narratives. She works with a multitude of mediums, primarily acrylic, graphite, and printmaking.
